Along with the host of outdoor activities that surround you, Sanford is also a notable center for Arts and Events.  Sanford has been growing as an arts destination, becoming known for its galleries, theaters and film festivals which ad to the local culture.

Make the Sanford Chamber your first stop while visiting Sanford. Located inside the Historic Sanford Welcome Center building at 230 E. First Street, Sanford, FL 32771.

Bike Trails and Recreation information

Volusia County's trails meet the recreational needs of all people, regardless of age, economic status or physical ability.

The St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop (SJR2C; the Loop) is the longest multi-use loop trail underway through the American Southeast.

The Award Winning Seminole County Trail system is comprised of three Showcase paved trails, Seminole Wekiva Trail , Cross Seminole Trail and the Kewannee Trail as well as one Showcase unpaved trail, the Flagler Trail. Transportation

The City of Sanford is a community where you can drive your golf cart and ride your bicycles downtown.  If you are visiting we also offer charging stations for electric cars.
