This freedom of speech event features guest speakers in Ft. Mellon Park at 2 PM followed by a march along Seminole Boulevard to Park Avenue, where guests will pause and take a knee for 10-15 minutes, then proceed south to 1st Street; then continue eastward concluding in Ft. Mellon Park with a prayer around 5 PM. The applicants have met with city staff clearly communicating their vision of a peaceful march celebrating
Juneteenth while looking forward.

A freedom of speech event does not require commission approval. Streets will be closed as indicated from 2-5 PM, but will be reopened on a rolling basis following the march. Palmetto Avenue will be manned to ensure
Marina and downtown traffic can enter and exit the City when safe to do so around the event participants.
