    Orlando, Fla. — CareerSource
    Central Florida (CSCF) announced the debut of Job LaunchPad, a podcast
    aimed at sharing topics on the career journey, talent and recruitment needs
    of businesses, labor market and the overall workforce landscape with
    subject matter experts in the community and within CSCF. Piloted by two
    episodes with helpful tips on the impact to individuals during the
    Coronavirus pandemic, the podcast is available by visiting the CareerSource Central Florida
    website. Listeners can now also subscribe to and follow Job
    Launchpad via major podcast directories including Apple, Google, Spotify
    and Stitcher.

    talent for businesses, most especially during these uncertain times when we
    believe the services we deliver across our region are needed more than

    With a podcast
    title that depicts an effective starting point of a career journey, CSCF
    Job Launchpad embraces the essence of the CSCF brand that strives to
    inspire individuals with hiring and career coaching, skills training and
    education programs, finding the right talent and employee training and
    education, just to name a few.

    The first two of
    the several anticipated episodes aired on May 8. Gina Ronokajiro, CSCF
    Osceola Career Center Manager, opened the podcast by discussing what
    employees and career seekers can do and the resources available if their job
    has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
     
    On its second
    episode, Karl Allen, CSCF Southeast Orange Career Center Manager,
    recommended how displaced workers can connect to employers and a job during
    the pandemic that has been causing disruption to many industries.
     
    There are two more
    episodes this month that will start airing on the 22nd with discussions on
    tips for updating online profile and resume as well as performing
    successful virtual interviews from CSCF career experts Janee Christian and
    Russell Vickery. While these four short episodes are slated this May,
    longer episodes lasting up to an hour will follow in the next months. The
    project is supported by podcast creators Workforce180.
     
    The CSCF Job Launchpad is hosted by Cliff Marvin, CSCF Director
    of Public Policy and Alliances. He is joined by guests from the CSCF teams,
    government, business communities, career seekers and Central Florida public
    and private associations – all showcasing thought leadership, expert
    advices, testimonials and experiences on broader workforce and labor market
    spectrum. |
