Johnny Craig named VP of Student Affairs at Seminole State College
SANFORD, Fla. (Aug. 12, 2019) – Following a national search, Johnny Craig has been named vice president of Student Affairs at Seminole State College of Florida.
Craig, who began work on July 15, is an established student services professional committed to holistic student development. He has more than a decade of leadership experience in community colleges and universities, including work in both private and public colleges.
In addition to his administrative roles, Craig served as an adjunct faculty member for many years and notes that “student success is the net product of successful collaboration between Academic and Student Affairs.”

As VP of Student Affairs, Craig will lead the development of student programs and support services that increase the effectiveness and impact of student development on student success, supervise leaders in all areas of Student Affairs, and will ensure that student processes operate efficiently and effectively to support students from admission through graduation. He also will serve on the College’s Executive Team, shaping the strategy and operations of the College.
