Neel-Schaffer, Sanford Chamber aid Clean Kids Backpack Program

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SANFORD, Fla. (May 30, 2019) – The Sanford office of Neel-Schaffer, Inc., assisted the Sanford Chamber of Commerce in helping exceed the collection goals of the Clean Kids Backpack Program for the month of April.

The Clean Kids Backpack Program is a non-profit charity designed to help America’s homeless registered public-school children (K-12) meet the most basic personal hygiene standards.  The goal is to keep kids clean and in school.  Better hygiene means better health, dignity and classroom attendance.  Subsequently, clean kids are better equipped to reach their educational potential.  All efforts are for the students, and there is a great opportunity to bring relief with something as simple as a new bar of soap.

In partnering with the Chamber of Commerce, Neel-Schaffer’s goal was to collect enough hygiene items to over fill the donation bin provided by the chamber.  With an outstanding response, the goal was exceeded, collecting enough items to reach approximately 35 families in the Seminole County community.
